1. Born and raised in Lancaster
2. One of nine children — I’m #5! (five girls and four boys, if you’re curious). My parents have been keeping each other sane for almost 40 years
3. Lived in a convent for 3 months (ok, it was no longer in use by our church, and was only while my family’s house was being remodeled, but it was quite an experience!)
4. Graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster in 2002
5. Studied Speech Communication and Business Administration at Millersville University of Pennsylvania
6. Lived in London during my junior year of college and worked at a neighborhood Irish pub slingin’ pints to the locals
7. My first job out of college was in the advertising department at the Los Angeles Times
8. I love country music most of all (are cowboy boots popular in the Czech Republic or Slovak Republic?!?)
9. Earned my MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in 2011.
10. Dreams of working for the U.N. and traveling the world for a living
